Hi, my name is Gidget Jackson, I was born in Miami, Florida back in the 60's. Remember the days of the Gidget movies and Sandra Dee. I was on the Dinah Shore Show, Skipper Chuck and participated in charities with my pink poodle, Michelle, in those early days. I swam with Flipper here in Marathon at the Dolphin Research Center when they were doing tryouts for a girl to be with the two boys for the movie series "Flipper". I've lived in Florida all my life and enjoy the fun and sun and all that it has to offer. I attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, worked in banking and insurance then decided I wanted to sell something tangible. In 1985, I started selling real estate along with insurance until I moved to Cape Coral in 1990 where I raised my two children, William and Jamie, while selling real estate full time and later running a RE/MAX franchise for 10 years. Once my children left home I sold the company and moved to Marathon where I reside with my husband Tony. Now I use my experience to help folks with their individual real estate needs. No deal is too big or too small. I give the same personal attention to all my clients. Recently, looking for my place in paradise and an opportunity to get into sales full time I decided to join MarathonVacation.com Real Estate here in Marathon, FL. WORK EXPERIENCE: Over 24 years experience in residential and commercial sales with extensive management, sales and leasing experience. Years of top listing and sales awards. I strive to give each of my clients’ personal service in the sales process. Whether buying or selling, I put years overall real estate experience to work for my clients. Through the years and many markets I have sold small single family homes and lots in all price ranges, condominiums and condominium developments, Short Sales, REO’s (foreclosures) managed condominiums and owned a 400 unit management and maintenance company while many of the units were for sale.
