Joe Townsend purchased his first Florida Keys home and settled permanently on DUCK KEY in 1997 after migrating from the Chicago area. He has been a full time Realtor with his home and offices on Duck Key since 2001. 

Joe is our DUCK KEY specialist and has been involved in the listing and sale of well over 100 DUCK KEY properties, including single family homes, both on and off the water, vacant lots, and Hawk’s Cay Resort Villas and Condos. He is also responsible for nearly $35 million of commercial redevelopment transactions in the MIDDLE KEYS in 2005/2006. 

Joe’s experience and knowledge extends into all of the MIDDLE KEYS including Marathon, Key Colony Beach, Conch Key and Grassy Key. More recently, Joe has specialized in short sales with many successful closings and listings since 2007.
